Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings Defeat The Indianapolis Colts 21-13 at U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday Night to improve to 6-2. The first half ended with a 7-0 score which came from the Colts hitting a scoop-and-score on a Vikings sack fumble in the 2nd quarter. The Vikings tied the game early in the 3rd quarter on a 4-yard touchdown pass to Jordan Addison. The Vikings added 2 more touchdown passes to Jalen Nailor and Josh Oliver in the 2nd half to take a 21-10 lead. The Colts added a field goal at the backend of the 4th but the Vikings recovered a late onside kick to seal the victory. Sam Darnold was 28-of-34 for 290 yards passing, tossed 3 touchdowns, and had 2 interceptions. Aaron Jones led the Vikings running attack with 64 yards on the ground and 18 yards through the air. Justin Jefferson once again led the receiving game with 137 yards through the air. Kicker Will Reichard missed his first 2 field goal attempts of the season but was perfect on his three extra points. Defensively, Jonathan Greenard added in 2 sacks, Jihad Ward also notched a sack, Harrison Smith had a fumble recovery, and Byron Murphy Jr. grabbed his 2nd interception of the season.
