Welcome to the Vikings Postgame Report. The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 12-7 in a game where Parker Romo hit four field goals to seal the victory. The Vikings dominated statistically with 402 yards of offense, they controlled the clock for 42:19, and ran 82 plays on offensive versus the 43 plays by the Jaguars. The Jaguars did intercept Sam Darnold 3 times in the game, with two of them being inside the redzone. Darnold finished the game with 241 yards passing. Mac Jones scored the lone touchdown for the Jaguars on a 1-yard run in the 1st quarter, but the Vikings defense took over from there. They turned over Mac Jones 3 times in the 4th quarter, including: Harrison Phillips' fumble recovery, Bryon Murphy Jr.'s interception, and Cam Bynum's game sealing interception. Cashman, Pace Jr., and Van Ginkel all had a sack each on Mac Jones. Aaron Jones led the rushing attack for the Vikings with 88 yards on the ground and T.J. Hockenson hauled in 8 receptions for 72 yards in the passing game.
