Advancing the Jupiter Rare Earth Project - Critica Limited (ASX: CRI)

View descriptionShare

Investability's Principal, Dannika Warburton, hosted a live webinar with Critica Ltd (ASX: CRI) CEO Jacob Deysel on Thursday, 26 February 2026.

About Critica (ASX: CRI): Critica Limited is advancing the Jupiter Rare Earth Project in Western Australia — Australia’s largest clay-hosted, magnet-REE-dominant resource — via a clear mine-to-magnet pathway. Jupiter’s beneficiation-first flowsheet delivers ~95% mass rejection and a 6–10× grade upgrade before leach, supporting a smaller, lower-intensity development footprint. Recent milestones include production of a ~58% TREO Mixed Rare Earth Carbonate (MREC) and an 84% TREO Mixed Rare Earth Oxide (MREO), validating both beneficiation and downstream processing.

With low U/Th, strong Nd-Pr-Dy-Tb representation, and partnerships with ANSTO, Minutech-AMML and GAVAQ (pilot commissioning underway), Critica is advancing optimisation, product specification, offtake engagement and a Scoping Study targeted before mid-2026 — positioning Jupiter as a capital-efficient, Western-aligned magnet rare earth supplier.

In this webinar, Jacob outlined the structural magnet rare earth supply gap facing Western markets and how Jupiter is positioned to address it through scale, simplicity and speed. He covered the project’s clay-hosted geology, beneficiation-first flowsheet (~95% mass rejection and strong grade uplift), recent production of MREP and MREC, and the pathway to a Scoping Study and defined development timeline.
