A Prayer to Surrender Control to the True Vine by Doris Swift

As moms, we carry so much. And sometimes what looks like nurturing or serving is actually just... control in disguise.Jesus offers us the truth that control was never our job. We are the branches. He is the vine. And apart from Him, we can do nothing — which means we were never meant to do it all anyway.Surrender isn't waving a white flag in defeat. It's the moment victory actually begins.

Prayer: Dear Lord, thank you for reminding us that you are the vine and we are the branches.
