We've been talking about kind words in our house a lot lately — and it turns out the real answer is always the same: it's what's in your heart. Today's episode is a gentle, convicting look at the connection between our hearts and our tongues, for us and for our kids.

Reference: Matthew 12:33-37

Prayer: Lord God, in our passage today, your word says that whatever is in our hearts determines what we say. Help me to see my angry and hurtful words as a sign that my heart needs to change. Please fill my heart with your thoughts and purposes so that the words that come out of my mouth will always be beneficial and loving to those around me. I pray the same thing for my family. We need your help. In Jesus' name, amen.
