What does it look like to obey God when the path ahead is unclear? In this episode, we reflect on Abraham’s faith-filled obedience and connect it to a modern-day story of trusting God’s leading—even when it doesn’t make sense at first.

Through a personal testimony of a daughter and son-in-law stepping into missionary work in Guatemala, we are reminded that obedience often requires courage, surrender, and trust. God’s call may not come with all the details, but His presence always goes with us.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I pray for the courage to listen for your voice and to obey the callings that you place on our lives. May we also support and encourage that calling in our children’s lives. We release our children into your loving hands, and pray your blessing upon them and those they touch with your love and grace. Amen.

Motherhood has a way of wearing us down—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. When stress tempts us to react in frustration, God gently invites us to slow down, laugh a little, and rest in His goodness.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today carrying the weight of motherhood, the beautiful, exhausting, overwhelming calling you've placed on our hearts. And we confess that sometimes we're so weary that we forget to choose joy, so overwhelmed that we react from stress instead of responding from your peace. Lord, help us to remember that even in our chaos, you are still good and your love for us never wavers.Give us the grace to laugh at the unexpected moments and to respond with patience when our plans fall apart and to model your unconditional love to our children. When we're tempted to be too hard on ourselves or our families, remind us to slow down and cast our burdens on you. Lord, we ask you to fill our homes with laughter, grace, and the beautiful truth that we are loved not because of our performance, but simply because we are yours. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of rest that comes from knowing we are held by you, even in our imperfection. In Jesus' name, amen.

Our role are mothers—not as rescuers, but as guides who consistently point our children back to the One who has already provided the ultimate rescue. In today's episode, we reflect on Hosea 13:6 and explore how creating intentional rhythms in our homes helps store God’s Word in our children’s hearts so the Holy Spirit can bring it to mind when they need it most.

Prayer:Father, help me to help my children to remember you. Help me to find little ways to teach them to think about you again and again. I don’t want it to be said about my family that we forgot you. I thank you that one of the Holy Spirit’s roles is “rememberer”. We need your help and you give us the help that we need. We thank you for that!
