A Prayer to be a "Telling Family" 

Jesus didn’t add qualifiers to the Great Commission. He didn’t say go and tell only if you’re outgoing, confident, or know all the right words. He simply said… go and tell. The beautiful part? We all tell His story differently. At the ball field. In the car line. At work. Around the dinner table. In everyday conversations with ordinary people.This week, let’s keep it simple.Who around you needs to hear about the hope and love of Jesus—from a regular person in a regular place?Let’s be telling families.

Prayer: Father, thank you for entrusting your good news to us. Help us not to take that responsibility lightly. Help us to be telling families. Families who are looking for ways and opportunities to share your hope, your love and your light to a world that is hurting. In doing so, may our children be tellers of your good news as well. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A Prayer for Humble Forgiveness with Rachael Hartzell

As moms, our instinct is to protect our kids—especially their hearts. In this episode Rachael shares a tender story about her young daughter navigating hurt and injustice when a peer repeatedly refused to call her by her name. What began as a moment of frustration became a powerful lesson in forgiveness, humility, and love in action.This episode challenges us to examine our own habits of forgiveness. Do we simply say the words and move on, or are we willing to forgive in ways that actively reflect Christ’s love?

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, it’s so easy for me to give in to my anger and frustration when someone wrongs me, especially my loved ones, and even harder for me to put aside my pride and forgive them. Lord, help me cultivate the same tender love You pour over me every day, despite my sins, and humble my heart so I can live out my faith in love and forgiveness with my family.

Have you ever thought about how our thoughts are directly connected to our peace? In today's episode, she reminds us of a life-changing truth: we cannot dwell on fear and God’s peace at the same time. God has designed our minds with intention, and Scripture calls us to actively choose what we allow to occupy our thoughts. When anxiety rises, the Word of God becomes our greatest weapon—and our surest path to perfect peace.

Prayer: Dear God, it can be so hard to quell the tide of anxiety. There is so much in our world that breaks our hearts and gives us cause for deep concern. And yet, you have promised that you will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on you. Please help us to make the active choice to dwell on you and your life-giving word today. In Jesus’ name, amen.
