A Prayer for Rest

Reference: Matthew 11:28-30

Prayer: Lord, let me see your presence with us today. Breathe restful life over our souls. May we remember that we do not need to carry the burdens that we feel, but instead we can lay them at your feet. Take your yoke and rest. Thank you for coming to redefine Sabbath rest. Thank you for showing us the way in which we should walk. Thank you for the promise of rest, even when we feel anything but rested. It's in name we pray. Amen.
