The Colorado Garden Foundation was formed in 1958, the same year as the Botanic Gardens.  The Colorado Garden Foundation was formed to help raise money for the Botanic Gardens.  The money they raise to give away scholarships and grants in Colorado.  They give away between $700,000 and $850,000 a year.  Their college scholarships are for four years and they also provide the student with a laptop.  They have also given away lots of grants that have helped schools build greenhouses.  The funds that are raise at the shows stay in Colorado.   Coming up on September 24th and 25th is the fall home show.
