On the challenge of Youth Violence Prevention the City of Aurora is taking a comprehensive community approach to end or mitigate violence by youth. The Office of Youth Violence Prevention is developing an action plan for a long term solution to the issue. The plan is utilizing focus groups, Youth Council perspectives, and community surveys to shape this encompassing strategy to youth violence prevention. Aurora is also incorporating such regional partners as Denver in adjacent communities.
