Guest: Suzanne Hagmaier President/Executive Director

Hope Held by a Horse provides a safe, positive environment, in the company of horses, to support women with breast cancer to learn, grow, and heal.  Suzanne shared her story about the first time she went to Hope Held by a Horse.  During one of the activities, she was asked to think about herself for a moment, she thought about what she went through with her cancer and how she almost died.  She started crying in the arena and all of a sudden this horse came up and gently put her head on Suzanne’s chest.  This is just one of the stories of how this organization has helped people with breast cancer.  They partner with Happy Dog Ranch, the horses are rescue horses as well.
