March is Women’s History Month and Molly Brown is a woman we should be celebrating.  She was a staunch supporter of women’s rights, and an active member of the National American Women’s Suffrage Association. She even ran for office before women could vote nationally.  She also survived the Titanic and became known as the heroine of the Titanic.  There is a Molly Brown House Museum in Capitol Hill, they have been a museum for over 50 years.  They have both guided and self guided tours.  They have a special exhibit to showcase her experience on the Titanic.  During Women’s History month, the Molly Brown House is having a tour called Women in the Gilded Age.  April is the month that we remember the Titanic, starting in March and into April they have a few different events to explore the house and hear the stories.
