Australian TV legend, Bert Newton, has passed away aged 83.

Newton passed away on Saturday night after a long health battle. The veteran performer died while undergoing palliative care in Melbourne, being admitted to hospital in March and eventually having his leg amputated. 

Entertainment Reporter Peter Ford spoke to Luke Grant, and shared his memories of the television, radio, theatre, and entertainment star.
