Dr. Myers ended his law enforcement career as the sheriff of Johnson County, Kansas. He is a nationally recognized expert in criminal justice public policy. Dr. Currie Myers joins Mike to discuss the horrific beating of Tyre Nichols by 5 Memphis police officers. Mike asks Dr. Myers what his emotional reaction was to watching that awful beating. Dr. Myers explains how law enforcement is not trained to beat people, but to arrest people.
