2021 was a great year for Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts. With quarterback Matt Ryan at the helm, Pitts caught 68 passes for 1,026 yards and a touchdown, a great season for a rookie tight end. Pitts did not have similar luck in the following years. In 2022, with quarterback Marcus Mariota behind center, Kyle Pitts finished the season with a paltry 356 receiving yards and an injured knee to boot. 2023 was not much better for Pitts, who while still recovering from the knee injury, also had to weather the Desmond Ridder storm to end up with only 667 receiving yards. To say that Kyle Pitts was happy when he saw that Kirk Cousins was signed by the Falcons on a four-year contract is probably an understatement. Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts sits down with Andy Bunker and Randy McMichael after Friday's practice from training camp in Flowery Branch, GA to talk about Cousins, and his excitement for the 2024 season.
