Midday at the Movies: 'Conclave' and 'Saturday Night'

Midday welcomes internationally acclaimed classical guitarist from Poland, Lukasz Kuropaczewsk for a Midday Mini-Concert. He has performed around the world, with some of the world’s most prestigious orchestras, and in solo recitals.

In addition to performing around the world, he is currently a faculty member at Kunst University in Austria and the Academy of Music in Poland.

Tomorrow he will perform at Towson University's Kaplan Concert Hall. This performance is presented by the Baltimore Classical Guitar Society.

This week, she reviews Queens Girl: Black in the Green Mountains at Everyman Theatre through November 17. Deidre Staples stars in many roles in the final chapter of the award-winning Queens Girl trilogy.

Financial problems have beset the agency ever since the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to cancel many events.

The future of who organizes events like Artscape is uncertain. Is there still a role for BOPA?

Rachel Graham is the CEO of BOPA, she joins Midday to share her vision for its future.

Later, we speak with Nicholas Cohen, the Executive Director of Maryland Citizens for the Arts and Jeannie Howe, the Executive Director of the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance.
