Baltimore's Everyman Theater is presenting The Skin of Our Teeth, a Pulitzer Prize-winning play by Thornton Wilder that premiered on Broadway on November 18, 1942, at a time when the world was convulsed by global war. The new production at Everyman opens tonight, Dec 10, a few days after the 80th anniversary of Japan's 1941attack on Pearl Harbor. That event led the US to go to war and was a major inspiration for Thornton Wilder to write the The Skin of Our Teeth.
