A Wisconsin band that strives to produce real, raw country music is shedding light on the struggles of dairy farming families.



While stopping by KQ98 in La Crosse to announce the Pat Watters Band as the opening act for Diamond Rio at the upcoming summer music festival Country Boom, Patt Waters shared a song from their new record called, "The Right Way."



"I've got family in the dairy industry," Watters said. "I know a lot of people in dairy industry. As we know, it's been rough for a while for dairy farmers, and it's not getting any easier."



Watters said he wanted the song to help people who do not have farming backgrounds understand the hardships farmers have faced with a song that brings the struggle to life for them.
