Alisa Harrison directs NCBA's checkoff funded national and state partnership strategies and integration through marketing, communications and research and science disciplines to activate consumers to choose beef and build beef demand.

What has covid-19 done to consumers shopping patterns, and how has supply chain disruption educated us on the process going forward?  Those are some of the comments you'll hear with "Checkoff Chat", brought to you by the Wisconsin Beef Council and Equity Cooperative Livestock Association.

Alisa comes to NCBA after serving as the Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing for the International Franchise Association. She previously worked in a senior role for the APCO Worldwide marketing and public relations agency. From 2001-2005 she was Director of Communications and Press Secretary for Secretary of Agriculture Anne Veneman. At USDA, she served as a spokesperson for the secretary and the department as well as managed all news media relations and communications strategies. Before joining USDA, Alisa was Executive Director, Public Relations for NCBA from 1986 to 2001.

Alisa graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications/Journalism from the University of Tennessee.
