But the U.S. Dairy Export Council sees Southeast Asia as a huge opportunity for dairy products and dairy ingredients. USDEC Chairman Alex Peterson tells Mid-West Farm Report about the trips he's been on to Japan and Singapore to send that message. USDEC also works to maintain current relationships in countries such as Mexico. Even though U.S. dairy exports in 2023 are down from 2022, Peterson is optimistic about the trend line.
