He says it was easier than he thought because the data the consultants need to calculate your score already exists on your farm, such as a nutrient management plan and milk production data.

Pagel's carbon emission score was 1.16. The average is 2.8. His goal is 0.

The assessment provided the farm with more data to help tell the farm's sustainability story. He discovered that through his conservation practices, he saves 352 dump trucks of soil annually.
