Representative Loren Oldenburg (R-Viroqua) is a co-sponsor of a set of bills to manage the labeling of plant-based meat and dairy products. 

Oldenburg said the goal is to help consumers understand that true milk or dairy products come from a dairy animal. Likewise, meat marketing terms, such as the word "burger" could no longer be used to advertise products with no genuine meat from an animal.
