October is suicide awareness month.

Dr. Michael Rosmann is a psychologist who was working at the University of Virginia in the 1980's, when he moved to Iowa.  He now focuses on serving the agricultural population in regards to their behavioral health.

He recognizes the stigma that is associated with mental health, and emphasizes the need to reach out and talk about what is distressing those who are struggling.
