Construction is well underway on the expansion and remodeling of the UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine.  Pam Jahnke sat down and talked with Dean Mark Markel about the need for such a massive expansion.  Markel says they received 1900 applications for 96 available slots!

Markel says they do try and focus on students that might be headed for large animal practices, but obviously have a number of criteria that applicant's are evaluated on before they are granted admittance.
