No - your eyes aren't seeing things.  That really is the world's largest potato masher planted right there on the front corner of the soon-to-be-open Food and Farm Exploration Center, just off I-39 in the community of Plover.

Pam Jahnke got a tour, and an excellent update on the project from executive director, Andy Reitz.  From it's 3 culinary kitchens, to it's interactive field driving experiences - this is unlike any learning center you've likely ever explored.Anf

Reitz says its main focus is getting today's consumers, grocery shoppers, mom's, dad's and the kids - all up to speed on what farm really look like.  It's a lot more like the Jetson's than Green Acres.
