Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison, chairs the Senate Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture and Rural Development. This week she and U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-IA, introduced the Farmland Security Act. This bill aims to help USDA better scrutinize foreign investments in domestic agricultural land.
