More than 100 people joined an hour long conversation about the future of the Farm and Industry Short Course(FISC) in Wisconsin.  The program, over 140 years old, is planning for some major changes beginning this fall, pivoting from a for-credit education to a non-credit setting.  There's also considerable question about the on-campus residence experience that many graduates have considered invaluable.

Jennifer Blazek is the Director of FISC, and spoke with Pam Jahnke immediately following the listening session to share what her take-aways were from the chat.

FISC staff will be meeting again on Friday with the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation, for further discussion on what's ahead for the program and its students.
