World Radiology Day is celebrated on November 8th to commemorate the discovery of X-rays in 1895 and to recognize the importance of radiography in healthcare. 

Radiographers operate advanced imaging equipment like X-ray machines, CT scanners, MRI scanners, and ultrasound machines – which helps to diagnose a wide range of conditions, including fractures, tumours, heart diseases, and neurological disorders. 

Today we highlight the significant role that radiography plays in healthcare and raise our glasses to the brilliant minds behind the screens that see the unseen!
