The Special Action Committee are appealing to the WC MEC of education to reconsider retrenching 2407 teachers in our province. 

MEC Maynier was given until yesterday (17 Dec) to respond to the committees appeal. 

No response, has led them to approach the courts and challenge the ill-conceived decision.
