As the National Health Insurance (NHI) Act comes under fresh scrutiny in Parliament and the courts, experts believes it is important to hear from the people whose very health and skills prop up our nation’s economy.With 1 789 professionals engaged, the 2025 State of Health Report reveals widespread concern. About three-quarters (75%) say the NHI could make things worse. Confidence in public healthcare is low: six in ten professionals don’t trust the system to provide proper care, while nearly four in ten point to staff shortages as the main problem. Rising costs (35%) and poor management (37%) make it even harder.
