The launch of the KwaZulu-Natal Summer Season by the KZN Tourism and Film Authority kicked off earlier this month. Durban is expecting some 1,3 million tourists over the holiday season. The international arrivals for December alone are 69 000 and the number of domestic trips are 613 000. Saskia speaks to KZN Tourism and Films head of PR and Communications Pinky Radebe.
