Knysna is staring down a water emergency with less thanten days of storage left. The municipality plans to drill seven new boreholes and is pushing for a state of disaster to fast-track pumps and tie-ins that would normally take months. Residents are being asked to cut usage to 50 litres per person per day, with Day Zero lessons from Cape Town in play.
