The Uitenhage branch of the SPCA have been told by the Nelson Mandela Bay municipality that they must vacate the premises for a new municipal pound operator after spending more than 57 years on the property. By February 20th  alternative accommodation must be found for the animals in their care, if not the cats & dogs could be euthanised, but all is not lost, SA’s legal eagles have come on board to provide them with free legal advice. SPCA chairperson Deirdre Swift joins us live for more on this story.
