The South African Weather Services has warned residents of The Mother City, the Cape Winelands, the western parts of the Overberg as well as the southern parts of the West Coast of a strong cut-off low-pressure system that’s expected to hit the country over the weekend. This system  will result in severe winter conditions, starting in the Western and Northern Cape, before moving eastward to affect the central and eastern provinces.
