September marks Heritage month in South Africa.And this month, the Artscape will be draped in history and performative storytelling (of the San and Khoi and its colonial connection to the Netherlands) when the Camissa Heritage Tour returns to the stage.The Camissa Heritage Tour blends historical narrative with dance and music and intends to impact and engage audiences by changing their perspective on experiencing history, heritage and culture through performance. This site specific performance takes the audience on a route within The Castle of Good Hope and other significant sites.It is directed by Luke De Kock and he joins us in studio now.

Known for his love of jazz and a good game of golf, Clarrie brings his unique flavour to this show. Some new features include ‘Heritage Hour’ every Wednesday between 10 and 11 am, The Masterclass on Fridays at 11 am as well as a segment exploring music trivia. Another new addition is ‘The Unexplained’ segment on Mondays at 10:35. Fan favourite ‘The Naked Scientist’ will continue on Fridays at 9:30 am.
