As part of commemoration of Transport Month, Wheel Well in partnership with African Brain Child (ABC) group, supported by Supa Quick, are introducing the "Be Quick to Click Car Seat Drive 2024" effort in October. The initiative aims is to address the critical issue of child road safety and preventative measures around traumatic brain injuries (TBI) among youngsters involved in car accidents. According to research conducted by the African Brain Child (ABC) group in Paediatric Neurosurgery at the University of Cape Town, about 2 000 children aged between 0 to 12 years are treated each year for brain injuries, which are mostly caused by poor vehicle safety measures.
