Cuernavaca has successfully constructed the world's longest taco acorazado, measuring an impressive 80 metres. This culinary achievement, involving hundreds of chefs, students and volunteers, surpassed the previous record. The massive taco, a regional specialty, was made with a large tortilla, rice and various stews and fillings. The event took place in front of the historic Palacio de Cortés and included live music and cultural performances. Although certified by a public notary, organisers opted not to purchase official recognition in the Guinness World Record book due to cost. The taco acorazado is regarded as a symbol of Cuernavaca's identity, rooted in the city's history.
