Today, we start with a troubling and deeply unsettling story that once again shines a spotlight on our
country’s border security — or the lack thereof. This past week, police rescued 22 young Ethiopian men — some as young as 16 — from a suspected kidnapping operation in Erasmia, near
Centurion. Many of them showed signs of severe malnutrition, dehydration, and even torture.
According to police, three were seriously injured and are currently receiving medical attention.
