President Cyril Ramaphosa says he expects all law enforcement agencies to implement the Madlanga Commission interim report which was submitted to him in December. Ramaphosa says he accepts the commission’s recommendations, including referrals for urgent criminal investigations, prosecutions and disciplinary action. Several senior South African Police Service (SAPS) officers and Ekurhuleni Metro Police officials have been flagged for alleged corruption, fraud and other serious crimes.
