Police Minister Senzo Mchunu, who has been placed on special leave, has now taken to the stand at the Madlanga Commission in Pretoria. Mchunu has testified that he has never faced any corruption
allegations. “Through all the public positions I’ve had the privilege to occupy, I’ve never been accused of corruption. Not once.” Several witnesses have testified at the Commission that Mchunu did not consult stakeholders when he disbanded the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT).
