The National Prosecuting Authority has decided not to prosecute anyone in the heartbreaking case of the seven-year-old girl who was reportedly raped on the school
grounds of Bergview College in Matatiele, Eastern Cape, in October 2024. According to the NPA, there is simply not enough evidence for a successful prosecution. But that decision has left many asking: Is justice failing our most vulnerable?
