Five women. Five bodies. And a community increasingly asking the same question: what is happening to women in and around Kempton Park? The discovery of another woman’s body in the Olifantsfontein area has intensified concern, coming after the deaths of four women whose bodies were found in and around Kempton Park. The cases have raised fears that the women may have been targeted by the
same perpetrator, with some questioning whether South Africa could be dealing with a serial killer. But police have urged caution, saying it is too early to make that connection and that investigations are still under way. So what do investigators know at this stage? Are there similarities between the cases, and are police investigating them as potentially connected?
