Apparently, some officials contracted to private security company G4S, who were working at Mangaung Correctional Centre when rapist and murderer the Facebook Rapist Thabo Bester escaped, have been suspended and dismissed. In 2012, Bester was sentenced to life imprisonment for rape and murder after luring women to him via social media platform Facebook by saying that international modelling scouts were interested in them.
