GOLD SECTOR WORKERS Yesterday we saw the May Day rally organised by Cosatu being disrupted by the workers in the gold sector - not allowing the ANC President, Cyril Ramaphosa, to speak. He eventually left the venue. The workers are demanding for a R1,000 annual salary increase for Sibanye-Stillwater gold mine workers - a story we’ve spoken about a number of times before.
