She made it clear that she would not vote to fund the government unless House Republican leaders took steps to file articles of impeachment against Biden and offer greater protection to Trump. Greene emphasized her refusal to fund what she called the 'weaponized part of the government,' including the Special Counsel and the FBI.

She also voiced her opposition to funding mask mandates, vaccine mandates, COVID measures, and any war in Ukraine, declaring her commitment to peace.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy had hinted back in late July that the GOP-controlled House might initiate an impeachment inquiry against President Biden. This suggestion came amidst a wave of evidence provided by numerous whistleblowers to House committees, accusing the president and his son of involvement in various corrupt practices, such as accepting millions of dollars in bribes from a foreign national.
