On June 17, an all-ages Pride event called 'Pride in the Pines' is set to take place in Flagstaff. The Northern Arizona Pride Association has declared 'No Nudity-City Ordinance' for 'all gender forms' as one of the rules for the event. Bud Light, Old Navy, Toyota, and Coca-Cola USA are among the big-name sponsors of the event. The event will feature drag queens and other performers. It has been promoted as a 'family festival event' for all visitors and a 'safe space' for them to enjoy.
In an incorrect promotional poster, Bud Light was included as a sponsor of the event. A post on Flagstaff Pride's Twitter account confirmed the error. However, Anheuser-Busch has yet to clarify whether or not they were sponsoring the event previously. Fox News Digital has contacted the company for more information.
Various pictures on the Flagstaff Pride website include infants, young children, and adults with drag performers. Gay pride events take place all over the country, aimed at families and young children. Some, however, have resulted in controversy due to their sexually explicit content. In a family-friendly Pride parade in West Hollywood, men engaging in graphic BDSM sexual acts were recorded in videos that later went viral online. Another Pride festival in Dallas showed explicit merchandise such as sex toys, and even graphic Disney fan art was being sold.
