Rohit Gupta is a BCOM (Hons ) LLB from Panjab University Chandigarh. He started his career with the family business in government construction contracting. 
Moved on to exports of leather footwear, set up a footwear manufacturing plant in Mohali Punjab. 
From1995 to 1999 did international trading in leather etc in CIS countries by running own office in Moscow.

Later switched to plywood business in 1999 in Mumbai and is running SAMRAT plywood since then.
