As a costumer for films she is the only designer in the country to be the recipient of 4 National Awards for best costume design.
Invited by the Academy of Motion pictures of Arts and Sciences as a member of the jury for Oscar Awards.

A couturier and an unprecedented originator, Neeta Lulla has given a contemporary touch to heritage textile like Kanjeevaram, Banarsi, Paithani and Kalamkari , reviving weaving and embroidery and creating romantic looks in her ensembles with Edwardian cuts and Renaissance colors.
