For hours hundreds of cars and trucks were stuck with no way to get to Memphis area hospitals and distribution centers because of the demonstration and the work being done on the I55 bridge. The event was planned knowing that the I55 bridge would not be open, thus causing maximum inconvenience.

Shelby County Clerk Wanda Halbert is under investigation by Hamilton County DA, Coty Wamp for allegations that "constitute a willful neglect by Halbert to perform the duties of her office,".  Wamp was asked to investigate Halbert as the complaints about the county clerks office are stacking up. Shelby County Commissioner Mick Wright has officially filed a 20 page complaint against Halbert with Coty Wamp's office. Commissioner Wright spoke on Memphis Morning News about his meeting and complaint. 

Dr. Cheryl Proctor of Portland Public Schools is one of three finalists for the Memphis Shelby County Schools position of Superintendent.  In an article written by Christopher F. Rufo for The City Journal dated July 27 2022 & titled, In Portland, the Sexual Revolution Starts in Kindergarten, a cache of documents from a source inside PPS exposes this curriculum that has been adopted in many of the districts K-5 classrooms.  The cache of documents also outlines the solution, obliterate the "white colonizer" conception of sexuality, with it's rigid male-female binary, and encourage students to inhabit "the infinite gender spectrum".   Dr. Cheryl Proctor is a finalist in the search for superintendent for Memphis Shelby County Schools.

Memphis Morning News spoke with Shelby County Commissioner Mick Wright about his observations while visiting 201 Poplar and the latest issues related to the county clerks office. The courts at 201 were "an absolute ghost town".  Yet the back log of trials, some for years, continues to grow.  The state will remove judges if there's appears not be a need in the county and with as few trials as have been occurring, it appears that we don't need as many judges because there's so few trials. How easy is it to fix? Make the judges punch in and out of a clock so the public see how little or how long they spend in their court rooms / offices?

In a recent case in Memphis, a neighbor knew the owner was out of state in hospice care and he has been charged with theft and fraud by writing his a "quit-claim deed" to transfer ownership to himself.  Matt have some simple things you can do to protect your property from theft attempts like this, and it's of zero cost to you.
