Meet The Peninsula Hosts

What if the best thing you could give your team was permission to slow down? In this episode of Meet The Peninsula Hosts, we head to Peninsula Hot Springs to explore the growing role of wellness in business events, and what happens when a conference, retreat or incentive experience is designed around connection and wellbeing. We meet the people behind the destination and discover how geothermal bathing, nature, dining and purpose-built event spaces can come together to create a very different kind of corporate experience. Rather than simply stepping away from work, we explore how a change of environment can help people reconnect with themselves, their colleagues and the ideas they’re there to explore. It’s a conversation about wellness, creativity and why sometimes stepping out of the boardroom is exactly what a team needs. Planning your next business event? What does whisky have to do with bringing people together? Quite a lot, as it turns out. In this episode of Meet The Peninsula Hosts, we visit Chief’s Son Distillery in Somerville to explore the stories, craft and people behind one of the Peninsula’s distinctive whisky experiences. We talk about what happens when you invite a group behind the scenes, from discovering how whisky is made to tasting the finished product and hearing the stories that sit behind it. For business events, it’s an opportunity to create something more memorable than a standard dinner or drinks, an experience that gives people something to discover together. We meet the people behind the distillery and explore the importance of storytelling, craftsmanship and connection in creating experiences that stay with guests long after the event has finished. Can a brewery be the perfect place for a corporate event? In this episode of Meet The Peninsula Hosts, we head to Jetty Road Brewery in Dromana to meet the people creating a relaxed, welcoming environment where good food, local beer and genuine conversation come together. We explore what makes a brewery work as an event space and why taking a team somewhere that feels less formal can change the energy of a gathering. From corporate catch-ups and team lunches to larger celebrations and private events, Jetty Road offers a very different take on the traditional business event, one that’s casual, social and firmly connected to the Peninsula. We talk about hospitality, local produce, creating the right atmosphere and the simple power of bringing people together over something they can share. Because sometimes the best meetings don’t feel like meetings at all. Planning your next business event? Discover what makes the Mornington Peninsula such a special place to bring people together. What if the journey to your event became part of the event itself? In this episode of Meet The Peninsula Hosts, we take to the water with Searoad Ferries and explore how crossing Port Phillip can turn a simple transfer into an experience. We discover what makes the Sorrento–Queenscliff ferry journey so distinctive and how the combination of coastal scenery, fresh air and time together can create an unexpected opportunity for connection. We also look at the role experiences play in business events, and why getting delegates out of the traditional conference environment can change the way they engage with a destination and with each other. With the Peninsula and Bellarine connected by a 40-minute crossing, the ferry offers more than a way to get from A to B. It offers a chance to slow down, take in the view and start the experience before you even arrive. Planning your next business event?
